Representative Vince A. Lofink


Representative Vince A. Lofink has served in the General Assembly since 1990. He has chaired the House Education Committee since the beginning of the current legislative session,
and most recently was appointed as the Co-Chair of the Bond Bill Committee. Also, he serves as the Vice Chairman of the House Labor Committee, and is a member of the Gaming & Pari-Mutuels, House Rules, and Veterans Affairs committees. 
 
An accomplished public servant and a dedicated educator, Representative Lofink brings a wealth of business, legislative and labor experience to the DSPC board. Since 1995, Representative Lofink has been the School-to-Work Coordinator for the NCCVo-Tech School District. In this capacity, he has organized and facilitated technical training opportunities with Delaware-based companies, including the Port of Wilmington for 11th grade vocational students. Under his direction these students are able to improve their professional skills, enjoy a seamless integration into the workforce after graduation and take advantage of a solid head start in their future careers. Previously, Representative Lofink worked for Chrysler in Newark as an industrial engineer, and as a financial systems analyst with International Platex in Dover. He also taught economics and marketing at Goldey Beacom, and marketing at Wilmington College.

Representative Lofink holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University, and a M.B.A. from the University of Delaware.
