The Port of Wilmington is a major Port and distribution center for liquid bulk petroleum products which are carried up the Delaware River by tanker vessels and tanker barges. |

Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. owns and operates a state-of-the-art bulk petroleum terminal and storage depot at the Port where they store and handle shipments of heating oil, fuel oil and many other types of petroleum products.
Every year the Port receives about 1.5 million tons of liquid bulk petroleum products, handled through a specialized tanker berth on the Christina River.
